It can also come in handy during the day, for looking in crevices and crevices.</span></span></span></span></p>

On night or cave dives you must have at least two: a large main lamp and a smaller secondary backup lamp. Technical divers, who explore caves or the inside of wrecks, have at least three flashlights each: one large primary lamp and two compact backup lamps. </span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span class="fs20"><span class="ff2 cf3"><span class="fs20"><span class="ff2 cf3">Of course, the reason for this is so that if the flashlight breaks, you are not left in the dark. Although underwater flashlights are very reliable, they do occasionally break, so it is prudent to have another light source (in technical diving it is considered mandatory). Although you may be able to manage a night dive even without a spare flashlight, it is certainly much easier to resurface and find the exit point having one than having none. </span></span></span></span></p>
<p><span class="fs20"><span class="ff2 cf3"><span class="fs20"><span class="ff2 cf3"><span class="fs20"><span class="ff2 cf3">In addition to the main light, for night diving you can also use a small beacon light, a chemical light, to attach to the top of your tank or snorkel. These beacon lights allow you to stick together with your buddy and, in the case of night diving from the boat, make it easier for the crew to locate you on the surface.</span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
