KAYAKFISHING - VOLCANO 4,60 EXPEDITION FISHING

By"kayak fishing" we mean the activity of fishing from a kayak. This sport has gained popularity in recent years due to its attractiveness as a healthy sport and relatively inexpensive to start.

There are different styles of kayak fishing. Depending on where you fish and what methods you use, there is a huge variety of fish that you will be able to catch. We really appreciate that everyone has a different take on the subject, but we thought some information would be of great use to those interested in getting started kayak fishing.

The fishing enthusiast is always continuing to develop new styles and variations and that is part of the beauty of the sport.

JIGGING FROM THE KAYAK

"Jigging" is a method of fishing that uses jig, which is a particular type of bait. The technique requires you to let your lure go down deep and then bring it back up using the jigging style, which is a slow vertical up-and-down presentation of the lure.

The bait usually consists of a weight in the shape of a fish or small octopus. The jig is a very versatile system and can be used in both fresh and salt water. For kayak fishing usually use between 80gr. and 150gr.

It is also possible to add feathered hooks on top of the jig so that the jig itself is a predator chasing hook, thus increasing the variety of fish you can catch.

With this method you can expect to catch deep water predators that live in that area, although it all depends very much on factors such as the depth of the jig etc...

in the area of Spain it is possible to catch the following species using deep water jigs such as Bass, Dentex, Snappers, Sparids, Gallinules and Groupers. With lighter jigs and with less depth you can fish Baila, Mackerel, Horse Mackerel, Pandora and Spider Fish.

TROLLING FROM A KAYAK

Fishing kayaks, such as those listed here on our site, have rod holders that are part of the kayak. You just attach the bait to the most specific rod for the type of fish you want to attract. There are an inifinity of variations in the lures that can be used, some are heavy, some are not, some move closer to the surface and some go deeper. Each setup is designed to attract certain species of fish.

Then you need to put a fishing rod or even two in the rear rod holders and start paddling to pick up speed. This movement will make the bait move behind the kayak and attract different surface predator fish.

This particular style of fishing is popular for catching migrating predators such as: Marlin, Tuna and Barracuda, but you can also catch Bass, Baila, Snapper and Spiderfish.

If you keep the catch soft enough, as soon as the fish tries to bite you will feel it right away. This method is also a great way to get some good exercise!

USING BAITED HOOKS FOR KAYAK FISHING

Using baited hooks means fishing by placing small baits on the hook. This varies depending on where you're fishing and the species of fish you want to catch, but typically includes varieties of worms, shrimp, and sardines.

This method of fishing is probably one of the most popular and allows you to catch an incredible variety of fish including all of the above mentioned species plus Bream, Sparids, Oblada melanure and Triggerfish.

Moreover, all our production plants are equipped with air amplifiers for the moulding of complex pieces. All of our products are subjected to the main laboratory tests such as traction, impact, stress cracking etc.
